Tara Thornton Turnbull
Originally from Toronto, Canada, Tara Thornton Turnbull has always been drawn to design, storytelling, and beautiful objects. After studying design in New York City and beginning her career in the magazine industry, she spent several years living in London before returning to North America.
Her years abroad, combined with an enduring love of travel, continue to shape her creative perspective. Whether wandering through museums, admiring historic architecture, or discovering the effortless style found on city streets around the world, Tara finds inspiration in the details that often go unnoticed. This global influence is reflected throughout her work, creating an aesthetic that is modern yet timeless, refined yet approachable.
In 2017, Tara co-founded SALT. Fine Jewelry, a brand that quickly developed a devoted following across North America and internationally.
